Pascal Fleury is a software engineer working on structured data ingestion for
shopping, focusing on data interoperability and modeling. He is a contributor to schema.org. He
previously worked on different areas covering AI and LLMs, natural language processing (NLP),
Knowledge Graph and Geo systems.
Before Google, Pascal worked at IBM Research in voice
recognition, and at Sony in the home entertainment company. He holds a Ph.D. in image and video
compression from EPFL, Lausanne.
