This PR addresses replacing the deprecated method which might be removed in the future releases.

Which issue(s) this PR is related to:

N/A

Special notes for your reviewer:

This PR specially addresses in client-go package. As this my very first contribution :), If the changes are good, will be replacing in other packages too.

Have ran Unit test cases locally under client-go package and all of them PASSED

Does this PR introduce a user-facing change?

NONE

Hi @mayuka-c. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.
