Hi @bishnusyangja, I noticed your ticket in the Trac queue and the question that you had about tests in the ticket. The documentation regarding tests (https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/5.1/intro/contributing/#writing-some-tests-for-your-ticket) recommends that you write your tests before you fix the issue so that you can test before and after. I have not worked on migrations before but I did notice another recent ticket in Trac (number 35595) that also worked on migrations and that PR might provide a good example for you to follow (see the PR: #19361). |
