Stonebwoy and his Godfather, Samini finally smokes peace pipe at the 5th edition of the #BhimConcert which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The Afro-dancehall superstar and his Godfater, Samini, who have had a back-and-forth over loyalty issues over a period of time, have finally wipe slate clean at the just ended Bhim Concert.
It all started in September 2020, when Stonebwoy decided to accept a lyrical dancehall battle between himself and Samini’s number one ‘enemy’, Shatta Wale, during the Asaase Sound Clash. Samini expressed his disappointment in a series of twitter rants in Stonebwoy for accepting the challenge.
Stonebwoy also hit back Samini during the clash by branding him as a ‘sellout’. ”If like say eno no be sellout when some father sellout ah, anka dem go friend this one (Shatta Wale),” Stone bwoy said during the clash.
This went on and on and Samini also replied on Joy Fm saying it hurts that Stonebwoy didn’t recorgnize his efforts.
He said; ”How did i seel out Stonebwoy? If Ghana can answer me, those were the things that hurts me.”
But on December 22, 2021, the two settled their differences on stage when Samini surprisingly joined Stonebwoy and the Jamaican music gem, Beenie Man.
