Ghanaian entrepreneur, CEO of Salt Media Ghana and Philanthropist, Ohene Kwame Frimpong has advised celebrities and other dignitaries who plead for fund from people all in the name of donating to the needy.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra Fm, O.K Frimpong made it clear that, no matter how small a donation may be, that is what the God almighty will base on and bless you abundantly if only you are donating from your heart and not for clouds or for human praise.
”If you want to do donation or if you have a vision to help the needy, what you have is what you have to use, because if you are doing it for God, God knows what you have and what you don’t have. Don’t go and plead from someone to do donation.
Because if you do so, some people may not even have but maybe because you think the person help and he or she couldn’t get you may have bad blood with the person, but the person may not have at the moment you as asking”, He said.
He continued to cite example that he has had such experience before because some people think he has all the money in the world in his hands.
”He said he’s going to do a donation somewhere and i was like ah, what you want to do, no matter how small it is, go and do it because that is what God will look up to and open his arms for you.
But if you are going to solicit for funds to do it the i don’t understand. So for me i don’t think it’s a good gesture, what you can do, do it and beg God that by His Grace and will you will make it big”.
