
The family of late veteran actor Psalm Adjetefio has made the date of his final funeral rites public.
He will be buried on June 4, 2022, according to his family.
The final ceremonies will take place on the forecourt of the now-defunct Ghana International Trade Fair Centre in La – Accra.
This became widely known after television presenter Barima Kaakyire Agyemang revealed the actor’s family’s plans on his Facebook page.
Several stars from the entertainment industry, as well as key figures from the country, are expected to attend the funeral service.
Psalm Adjetefio died on April 8 from an illness that the family did not disclose.
The actor died early Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home in Ayikuma, Greater Accra Region.
He was said to be suffering from heart problems and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The late actor, known as TT, appeared in a number of films, including Papa Lasisi, The Chosen One, American Boy, and The Scent of Danger.
Prior to his death, the actor made headlines when he solicited funds to settle some bills, which drew a strong reaction from many Ghanaians.
Several donations were made to him, but he returned complaining about difficulties because the donations were insufficient to cover his expenses.
Among the many contributions were GH50,000 from Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and a monthly stipend of GH1,500 from Greater Accra Regional Minister Henry Quartey.
