Remote blockchain development thrives on asynchronous autonomy rather than constant supervision, so the absence of micromanagement is vital. The key lies in creating crystal-clear documentation around architecture decisions and technical specifications. I think it’s also smart to establish clear communication channels: sync for conceptual challenges, async for updates, etc.

Establishing communication norms also means setting realistic boundaries for when work communications should be sent and answered. What are the hours that you’ll need your remote teams to be available? Project leads or managers need to establish shared objectives and vision for projects so every team member is aware of projects they’re working on, with whom, and what are the project timelines. It also helps to provide detailed context and instructions for tasks, while focusing on outcomes. Implementing cloud-based collaboration platforms allowing teams to access and share documents in real-time. This PPM tool allows project managers to track tasks and monitor progress, ensuring that everyone stays on the same page.

While managing remote teams for several years, here a are few steps to setup effective collaboration : 1. First step is to setup up a clear goal/objective or a team charter with project deliverables to the team 2. Ways of working is quite important (depends on methods, Agile/Waterfall)? This would help select the process/real-time tools that people can use for collaboration. 3. Regular check-in with the entire team on planned/accomplished tasks (once/twice a week) or in a scrum (daily) can help ensure accountability 4. Split-up of tasks based on skills and time zones to reduce cross location dependency 5. Sharing progress regularly with the entire team, can build consistent motivation and inspiration, while making progress towards goal

Establish defined goals and roles to ensure efficient cooperation in a distant blockchain project. Utilise safe and effective collaboration solutions designed specifically for decentralised teams to ensure continuous communication and data sharing. Set up frequent virtual meetings to review progress and handle difficulties openly. Recognising individual efforts can help to encourage active engagement and build trust. Create a common repository for project updates and documentation to improve accessibility. Promote a culture of responsibility and creativity to keep the team together while driving the project's success.

For me, I will focus on clear communication, set common goals, and use tools like Slack, Notion, and GitHub. I will ensure that I have regular meetings to check on progress, open about updates, and make sure everyone is responsible for their tasks.
