Young Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog, better known as Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, has stated that he intends to donate 20,000 exercise books to students.
Yaw Tog has declared his intention to create an NGO and has promised to be kind to schoolchildren by providing them with books for their study.
Yaw Tog revealed that he has already given away over 6,000 books to some chosen schools in Ghana during an interview with Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
“TOGLife Foundation we help people, especially the kids like the young ones like me and I have been able to share 6,000 books to them,” he told Amansan Krakye.
He revealed that he will utilize the earnings from his recent event at the Kumasi Rotary Park to finance the initiative when the host inquired about how he intended to fund his new project of giving away 20,000 exercise books to schoolchildren.
“I shared the books among kids in both public and private schools and we are trying to raise money to supply about 20,000 books so that’s the limit we want to reach.
“So we are still on it and after my October show, I will use the money to go and support activities of my foundation for the people on the streets and everywhere,” he said.
