As the world gets a sneak peek at the next Indiana Jones movie, Harrison Ford is back in action.
The Dial Of Destiny has been announced as the title of the forthcoming Indiana Jones film’s first trailer.
After playing the famed whip-cracking archaeologist for more than 40 years, Harrison Ford reprises the role at the age of 80.
The clip includes chase scenes, Nazi bad guys, a huge rolling boulder, and Ford galloping through New York City on a horse.
John Rhys-Davies, a Welsh actor who plays Indy’s friend Sallah, is also present.
He is overheard saying to the explorer, “I miss the sea. Every morning wondering what fantastic experience the new day will bring us is something I miss.
I don’t believe in magic, but there have been a few occasions in my life when I’ve witnessed things that I can’t explain, recalls Ford’s character.
And I’ve grown to feel that how strongly you believe something matters more than what you believe.
In many of the scenes, the actor has been “de-aged” and retains his youthful appearance.
Along with Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge makes an appearance in the trailer as his goddaughter.
James Mangold, who also directed Walk The Line, Logan, and the Johnny Cash biopic Le Mans 66, is set to release The Dial Of Destiny on June 30.
Ford’s career has been defined by his performances as Indiana Jones and Han Solo, and fans will be hoping for a better film than the previous reboot.
Despite being directed by Steven Spielberg, who also produced the original trilogy, Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (2008) was widely regarded as a letdown.
