Gospel Musicians Don’t Get Enough Money From Music As It Was Before – Florence Obinim

Ghanaian Gospel musician, Florence Obinim has said that, Gospel acts don’t get money from their crafts as it use to be some years back.

In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra Fm, the Gospel musician said that a change has come because as it is now, if they spend money to record a song, they don’t have place to sell it.

”A change has come and i don’t know whether it is an attack on Gospel musicians or if it is God who has chanced things because right now when you record a song and even spend money on it, you don’t have a place to sell it. At first we will sell CD to pay studio debt, video debt and also pay promoters(DJs). But now, if you record a song, you don’t get money from anywhere to settle your debt.

If you are not lucky to get gigs or sell it on social media, YouTube, you won’t get anything and even that it is not enough”, she told Nana Romeo.
