Shatta Wale has urged his Ghanaians to consider giving John Dramani Mahama another chance to lead Ghana.
He said this during an interview with George Quaye on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z.
Shatta Wale answered the question that had been posed by Baba Sadiq, a well-known supporter of the opposition, by saying, “We have to give Mahama one more chance.”
“When Mahama was in charge, he was doing everything for every youth to live,” said Shatta Wale. He went on to explain why he feels this way, saying, “I was getting opportunities from the presidency.
The “Mahama Paper” hitmaker said that many other musicians, like the hip-hop group VIP, collaborated with the former administration on projects that had a positive impact on society.
“I was doing a back-to-school project… and I spoke to one of them in the [previous government], and before I realized, they were supporting the project”, Shatta Wale disclosed.
He also stressed that with ex-President Mahama in charge, Ghana’s creative arts sector had a better opportunity.
