Afrobeat’s singer, OV has said that the Ghana music industry always has its focus on unnecessary things and controversies.
In an interview with Sammy Kay, the singer said she feels the industry gives much attention to controversies than the hard word the musicians do.
” I feel like we follow too much of the controversies, we channel our mind from the music and that is where our focus is supposed to be on”, she said.
Though she said sometimes controversies help in a way and it has helped her gain huge following but she personally wants her music to travel than controversies around her.
“Well at some point I know the controversies help somehow but me personally i want my music to travel and not my controversies”, OV added.
