Fameye's Album, ''Songs of Peter,'' Pays Homage To Highlife And Demonstrates His Maturation.

Fameye, a Ghanaian multi-award-winning performer, has released his second studio album, ‘Songs of Peter,’ in the early hours of April 29, 2022.

According to a joint statement made by Famaye and Boomplay, the album celebrates the long-standing and distinctive genre by leveraging current and old highlife tunes.

Fameye, who is noted for his amazing songwriting talents and vocals, combined with his attention to detail and enthusiasm for narrative,” gives music fans “stories about life, hardships, believe, hope, society’s expectations, and progress,” which is a signature of the highlife genre.

Ofori Amponsah, Kwesi Arthur, Pure Akan, Amakye The Rapper, Akodaa Seden, and Suzzway” were all featured on the 13-track album.

“Long-time collaborator and friend, Liquidbeatz, is credited with the production of 12 out of the 13 songs on the album. Peewezle produced one track titled ‘One Day’.”

“The highly anticipated album is exclusively available on Boomplay, Africa’s largest music streaming platforming, following a partnership deal.
