Chris Brown is facing battery charges after he allegedly hit a woman, according to reports from NBC News and The Wrap.
According to the authorities, the Grammy Award-winner hit the woman during an argument in Los Angeles on Friday. The LAPD said officers responded to a radio call of an argument at a residence on Citrus Ridge Drive in Los Angeles at 7:30 a.m. on June 18.
Suspect was not at the location when police arrived. A crime report for battery has been completed and referred to the LA City Attorney’s Office.
This is not the first time Chris Brown has been caught up in the wrong side of the law — if you recall in 2009, Brown physically assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown in 2019 was detained in Paris for drugs and rape charges. LAPD confirmed that this is the second tile in six weeks the department has received a call from Brown’s residence.
Chris and his team are yet to comment on the chargers.
