Okese1 claims that being fired from Hitz FM has had no negative impact on his career.
According to him, after the incident, DJs in the country began playing his Na Today hit song.
“After my issue with him, DJs even started playing my songs,” he said in an interview with ZionFelix.
Okese1 was asked to leave the studio after arriving late for a scheduled interview on DayBreakHitz on HitzFM without explanation, plus, according to Andy Dosty, his “rudeness.”
They reconciled and apologised to each other in a February 2021 interview on Neat FM.
On the issue, Okese1 said on the sidelines of an event in Accra that, while he has nothing against Andy Dosty, the presenter does not hold the key to any musician’s success.
When asked if he believes he can function without Andy Dosty due to the media conglomerate for which the ace presenter works, he replied, “for sure, people can blow without Andy.”
He is not Ghana’s only DJ.”
Andy Dosty is employed by Multimedia Group.
The company, which was founded in 1995, owns six radio stations, six news websites, and a satellite television network.
“I’m not even sure (Black) Sherif used Andy to blow,” he added.
He arrived. “It was done by God.”
Okese1 stated that from his observations as a person, it is only when a person has a negative mindset that he does not flourish.
“I’ve noticed some things in the world.
It affects what you do if you have a bad mind.
However, if you have a pure heart and mind, even if others think you are bad, others will see that you are a good person. That is, if you are acting correctly.
