Actress Jena Malone claims she was sexually assaulted while filming

Disclosing a previous sexual assault, Jena Malone. On Tuesday, the 38-year-old actress, who played Johanna Mason in the final three Hunger Games movies, posted a reflection on Instagram about how she felt when the franchise’s run came to an end.

“I had to say goodbye to everyone on set after wrapping Mockingjay — Part Two when I took this picture. I requested the chauffeur to let me out in this field while we were filming in a stunning estate in the French countryside so I could cry and record this moment “She started. Although I was going through a difficult breakup at this time in Paris and was also sexually assaulted by someone I had worked with, I was incredibly grateful for this production, the people I grew close to, and the incredible role I got to portray”.

Jena Malone said that while it has been difficult to discuss Johanna Mason and The Hunger Games without feeling the urgency of the present moment, she is now “ready to move through it and recapture the joy and accomplishment I felt.”

Co-star of Malone’s in The Hunger Games Willow Shields responded to the post in the comments, expressing that it has left her “at a loss of words.”

Shields continued, “I understand and I hope that even though the procedure is so delayed you are okay Jena.
