
The 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Award candidates were announced on Wednesday, kicking off the 2023 SAG awards season.
SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher gave an introduction before making the announcement via an Instagram Live video. The honorees in film and television, as chosen by their acting peers, were shared by Ashley Park of Emily in Paris and Haley Lu Richardson of The White Lotus season 2. Jason George and Elizabeth McLaughlin, members of the SAG Award committee, announced the nominations for the Outstanding Stunt Ensembles 2023 SAG Awards categories.
In Los Angeles, on Sunday, February 26, the Fairmont Century Plaza will host the 2023 SAG Awards. Netflix’s YouTube service will broadcast the ceremony live.
