Zikomo Africa Awards is back with the second edition of awarding organizations and individuals who are contributing to the art industry.
There is over 50 categories in this years edition. Some of the categories include fashion, music, sports, agriculture, business, Science and technology, humanitarian work and many more.
The annual event (Zikomo Africa Awards) celebrates outstanding achievements across music, fashion, fitness and humanitarianism.
Nominations was opened to the general public around the world on the 3rd of June. Nominations can be filed through our website ( www.zikomoawards.com ).
Lusaka City, Zambia will be hosting the ceremony the second time in a roll.
ABOUT NOMINATION AND VOTING
Zikomo Africa Awards will be awarding individuals and/or groups picked by you the people as these are the people’s choice awards, in various categories.
NOTE: The nominations are in two phases; Zambia (as the host country) and Africa. You are at liberty to nominate in both phases Here are some notes to consider as you nominate your deserving individual and/or group;
THERE ARE 3 STAGES THAT A NOMINATION UNDERGOES:
1. Initial nomination stage – The more nominations you get at this stage the higher your chances to proceed to the next stage. So the idea is that once nominated the nominee is advised to get people to submit more nominations.
2. Preliminary nomination – at this stage the nominee is now competing to get into the top 4 candidates who will therein be eligible for voting
3. At this stage the nominee will be grouped with 3 other nominees in the specific category which will enable the people to vote on who they think deserves the award – Shortlisted Nominees will be contacted and posters will be distributed to said nominees and media partners across the continent.
Humanitarians and Charity Organizations will be nominated and awarded in Africa and the rest of the world via our website as the event will have guests from Africa and Europe.
Nominee stands the higher chance of winning a category in the Zikomo Africa Awards through voting.
Nominations of the categories below started on 2nd and it will end on the 15th of August 2022.

Zikomo Africa Awards is an International Award ceremony that recognizes and celebrates individuals and organizations that are positively contributing and succeeding in various industries, such as art and entrepreneurship.
These are annual awards that will be held in Lusaka, Zambia.
The Zikomo Africa Awards also recognize Humanitarians who make significant contributions by assisting the needy in their communities.
